These heavily-padded shoulder straps are part of the MOLLE system, and are adjustable for varying torso lengths. In the MOLLE system (as compared to the older ALICE system) more weight is distributed at the shoulders and hips, and during a prolonged road march, soldiers can shift the weight to where it feels more comfortable.

These shoulder straps are designed to work with the MOLLE frame and waist belt (not included).

The MOLLE Sleep System Carrier attaches to both the MOLLE Frame and the bottom of the main cargo compartment of the MOLLE Main Pack (attaches in both places for stability). Designed to hold the military sleeping bag/Gore-Tex bivy sack system.
